This web development project involved redesigning and implementing the companies existing catalogue of products and accompanying information into a brand new website from the ground up.
Starting off on a local development version, the key features and content were ascertained, developed and tested before migrating the site to the live environment.
The site uses a heavily edited child theme of a free WordPress theme alongside WooCommerce, which provides the platform for displaying all the products in both the catalogue and items sold directly through the website’s shop.
Key Features
- Custom home page (as per design specification). Featuring video/image banners, featured products slider, product ranges and latest blog posts
- WooCommerce for both a catalogue and shop section on the website with approximately 500 products added to the site.
- Custom product enquiry (on catalogue products), whereby users can configure a product part number and add to an enquiry form.
- SEO implementation for all pages and products.
- Many CSS, PHP and Javascript customisations via use of a child theme
